Never enough time.

Each region of the globe, as well as each city or town, has its own distinct aura. People always bring something new with them when they visit a new place, and it is not an exaggeration to suggest that travel transforms people and their personalities. When individuals realise how vast and diverse the world is, they view everyday events in a new light. The charm of new locations heals wounds and cures despair, providing a sense of liberation and boundless vitality.

When I found this image, I was blinded by the colour palette, the skewed perspective of the colours and shapes creates an immense amount of energy within the painting. At first when looking at this image I saw a firework, as my eyes were focal pointed towards the bright light in the lower third of the page. However, as you start paying attention to the figures and shapes, you can start to make out people walking in a street with umbrellas, further drawing your attention to the bright lights. Computing the taxi and car lights amongst the tall buildings. Viewers will instantly feel the fast motion of stereotyped cities.

I also take away from this painting the colour palette utilised; in my opinion, the colours chosen depict the feeling of being rushed and not having enough time to travel about. We rarely seem to pause and appreciate the time we have in our modern environment; we are always on the move! Our civilisation is structured in a hierarchy of competition. Who will be the first to manufacture this product? Who will be the youngest billionaire? Life is a never-ending competition to be the best.

Humanity never seems to understand the concept of time. How we have so much yet such little time on this floating rock, where we are blindsided by being the best and working so hard to achieve so much, to what? Be happy?

Happiness is created through love. Laughter with friends. Hugs from family. Self love.

Whether you are at your happiest by yourself or with others. Money isn't the source to happiness . This time we are spending on work, and getting from one job to the other is waisting our time, we have to LIVE. Explore the world, experience new things, find your passion!

No ones passion is to be living at a desk.

Find something you love to do when time doesn't feel like a problem. When time seems to stop.
